In Greece there are a few big rocks where a people has been forming from the 16th century. The Rousannour monastery was constructed in 1545 by Maxima and Ioasapgh de Ioannina. The monastery little by little has been used being left and damaged when faith the second guerramundial. For the time being from 1988 it has been occupied by 13 nuns.
The place of the monastery is really impressive since they are on a rock and the conference are incredible. To enter the monastery it is necessary to happen for a bridge that formerly was of wood and in 1930 it was reinforced by another stronger material.
The monastery is in the top of a rock and it is possible to see to the sides an abyss that very scares. There are three levels in the monastery. The church is in the lower part and other rooms for different uses. In the part of above it is where there live the nuns as well as his dining room and rooms to have together.
The monastery is called Roussanou, it is of Christian religion and he devotes himself to Santa Barbara. It is in Meteora, Thessaly in Greece. They all can go to visit the place from 9 a.m. up to the 1 of the evening and in the evenings it is possible to go from 3 of the evening to 6 of the evening. In winter it closes every Wednesday then it is not possible to come. It is important to remember that to take pictures is prohibited. It is very cheap to go since only it costs 2 euros. It is a very advisable place of visiting since it is different and impressive and many it like visiting.
